Mission World

Was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi always born a Mahatma? At 14, did he know that one day he would be cognomen of Mahatma? While studying his law in the English land, was he aware that one day, he would be combating the empire of a nation whose sun never sets?Did Nelson Mandela know when he was a child that one day, he would fight against apartheid? How much was King Martin Luther conscious while doing his catholic studies that he would fight against unfair treatment to the Black in the United States? But they fought, they led and they won. They won because their mission was not self-centric, they won because they had the zeal. The zeal to serve humanity, the elan not to bow to the wrong, and the penchant to be people's leader. They didn't have technology, they didn't have blogs, they didn't have mass-media, still they won. They fought for a cause and prevailed, setting for us the examples to follow.Different times have different problems. We don't face the problems that they faced. We don't face apartheid, we don't encounter colonialism. But we do face grave issues. We face terrorism, global warming, hunger, poverty, unemployment, disease, war et al. We combat humans who have forgotten humanity, who are self-centric, apathetic and indifferent towards suffering humanity. We have to prioritize these issues and fight against them one by one. Our mission is to make this world, Shangrila. We are marching towards a fight where we can't afford to lose even a single battle. Even a single battle lost will result in unendurable loss to humanity. We have to win every single battle, every single cause...Our mission is world. We have to change it and we will.Let's vow to make people aware of the problems around and to not sit relaxed unless we eradicate the afore-mentioned evils from their root.

Very inspiring and good use of examples. It's a good writing style - a thought provoking blogs.

Few recommendation:
- Paragraphs would enhance your blog visually
- Few relevant pics will add value to reader's pleasure.

completely agree with Arun, its more of a start doing thing and to start doing it now. How, what, when, where doesn't matter lets start from whereever we are and finally we will scale the peak. It will take time, but we will reach there one day.. someday.

nice one..
in the problems you removed apartheid..it is not there in law officially and there are many laws against it... but still it is there in the society in hearts. still there is social discrimination and rules and laws cant change it.
Hope it will change one day...

finally good thoughts... thanks for all your bloga and your ideas.. i pray to god that you should always be successful so that you will be a part of making the world a better place to live.

The more I read your posts the more I feel that you are a person with a great attitude in helping out others.....how to instill this kind of feeling in ourselves? Anu suggestions? I feel there should be more people who think like you but i must admit that I lack this kind of thinking myself.

We all must take a learning from the paragraph and think about humanity.Very inspiring. The manner in which you have brought out the meaning is also very good.

I completely agree with you bro... we are sent to this world to make a difference... so lets stand up and make ourselves counted....

Even if we don't make a bug difference it doesn't matter.. its your effort to do so that matters... If we succeed in making even a small change we can consider ourselves useful

Frankly speaking this piece of writing lacks practical approach.
Just like you can't compare two people in the same way you can't compare environments, eras, conditions, times etc.
Even Mahatama would have failed miserably today and would have been a commoner like us.
But still this shouldn't stop us from doing our duty as a human being and as an Indian.
